Spent the day back at Buxted Park Hotel yesterday for Susan & Andrew’s wedding.  Another day full of fun and laughter and motorcycle balloons.  It was also a double celebration in that it was Susan’s birthday and Marc Desseaux was on hand to present the birthday cake and lead the singing!  The hotel has started to look very festive – as you will see the Christmas tree is now up in the Coat of Arms room – always looks good.  Here are a few images from yesterday.

Off to Buxted Park Hotel today for meetings and a pre-wedding shoot with Tania and Chris ahead of their New Year’s Eve wedding at Buxted Park. We managed to dodge the rain and had a walk around the grounds, locating some stunning colour still left in the trees.  I really enjoy doing pre-wedding shoots, it gives us all the opportunity to get to know each other a little better and to relax with the camera ahead of the big day.  I can also now prepare a border around Tania and Chris’s chosen image, which will be a signature print for their day, to be signed by all the guests.  Here are a few images from earlier today.

Back to the stunning Pennyhill Park Hotel yesterday for Mary & Susan’s civil partnership celebrations.  A lovely ceremony was held in the library with twinkling candles and rich red roses.   A reception was held for nearly 100 people with lots of fun and laughter.  Never mind the rain and the gales, it was just perfect inside this hotel.   Here are a few image from their day.

I was delighted to have won the 2009 Wedding Photographer award back in January this year supported by the popular Wedding Ideas Magazine.  I am even more thrilled to have been nominated again for the 2010 awards – you can view all the nominations and place your votes on line now at http://www.weddingideasmag.com.  The December edition of this magazine has just been published and it also contains a real wedding which I shot in January this year at Buxted Park Hotel – Suzanne & Phil.

It is really exciting that quite a few of my past brides have now had babies or are about to.  It is my aim to spend some more time shooting families, children and baby shots in 2010 and if any of my previous couples wishes to have some family shots, please just let me know.

Back to Buxted yesterday for a later afternoon wedding with Susan & David.  The afternoon and evening was full of fun and laughter and really looked beautiful with a wintery theme of reds, creams and warm candles.  A really cool band played into the evening – I’ve added one image of Susan & David dancing – totally unrehearsed and brilliant.

Spent a glorious day yesterday back at Buxted Park for Ros and Richard’s wedding celebrations.  The autumn colours are really coming out now and I’ve included a few with this post.

Spent the day yesterday at the fabulous West Stoke House just north of Chichester in West Sussex.  This is an absolute gem of a location, stunning scenary, beautiful venue, excellent food and attentive service.  It was a real pleasure to spend the day there and thank you to Richard who organised the day on behalf of West Stoke House – www.weststokehouse.co.uk.  Nina looked fantastic in a beautiful wedding dress and the whole theme was full of autumnal colours.

It has finally arrived, after months of planning the car is loaded up and I’m on my way to Battersea Park for the Designer Wedding Show.  I’m really excited at being at this show.  It is based on providing a portfolio of work and is judged by a panel to see if applicants are suitable.  I have some wonderful new albums on show and shall be joined by Lisa Holt for the three days and Natalia Reddy on Saturday – both of whom assist me at weddings.
